The sound of the rock guitar is a mighty majestic power and I will be wielding it to create 3 and 4-part guitar arrangements of classic rock guitar solos, movie themes & other tunes that make me smile. There may be other instruments too, it's early days so watch this space...
All of this is home made (in my top secret cloning lab!) with the greatest love and respect for the original artists and composers. They have provided me with endless inspiration and enjoyment. I hope I can share that with you too.
Thanks for stopping by x

As you already know I love a good fanfare and this one just buzzes with excitement. This one is short and sweet but it was a lot of fun to work on. The clones asked a couple of friends pop by to say hi in the video, see if you can spot them!
John Williams/Tenacious D
I've always loved Leia's Theme, it is so hauntingly beautiful and I'd been playing around with a few of these tunes for a while when I realised they fit together well. Hope you enjoy them x

Harold Faltermeyer
I've always loved the whole Top Gun soundtrack but playing this is so much fun. Recently I started toying with a harmony for the solo section and here we are! Full version to follow.
Kashmir, Eclipse & Killing In The Name Of
I was playing around with some tunes and brewed this little blend up! The dirty rock funk of Led Zep & RATM seem to compliment the hypnotic swell of Eclipse. The awe-inspiring images are from the Hubble courtesy of NASA.
An Epic Rock Guitar Chorus!
I wrote this after being inspired by some awesome movie themes. For me, fanfares are perfectly suited to the triumphant sound of rock guitars in harmony. It seemed apt for it to be my first upload!
I loved this theme the first time I heard it and I still get chills when I hear that fanfare. Being a huge Star Wars fan since I was a very tiny Truellista, I was so excited for the Mando series and it was every bit as epic as I'd hoped. The making of series was also fascinating. Ludwig Gorannson really captured an amazing spirit in his score and renewed my love of fanfares!
I have loved The Darkness since the very first time I heard them. They are consistently entertaining, write great riffs and songs for whatever mood I'm in and are one of the greatest live bands. I clearly recall the first time I heard Stampede, there was such tenderness in the vocals yet the lyrics were totally absurd. The sweetness of the ballad erupts into this epic rock solo. It is the first solo I started playing around with harmonising and ultimately where Truellista began!
One of the most awesome movie themes from one of my favourite films, it takes me straight back to the wonder and excitement of when I first saw part one. If there was a time I could go back to in history it would be 50's America with its beautiful cadillacs and milkshake diners with jukeboxes, but also as a fan of the 80's and not to mention a huge Huey Lewis fan, it ticks all the boxes. And the music is so exciting, this theme gives me a boost whenever I listen to it, along with planting a huge smile across my face. As you can tell from the goofy looks. Sorry. Not sorry!
I have always loved good stadium rock and have really enjoyed learning some Richie Sambora Bon Jovi solos lately. His style isn't too busy so is easy to harmonise and this tune is beautifully produced yet still has a real complex raw sentiment at its heart. I may do something else with it at some point if I feel brave so watch this space!
More Darkness! One of my favourite songs of all time. It never fails to get me dancing, singing and beaming from ear to ear. And also makes me want to take up archery...
In honour of Halloween I have put together a medley of Thriller & Alice Cooper's Poison. Rod Temperton was a great songwriter and is responsible for so many amazing tunes, great work for a lad from Cleethorpes! My introduction is inspired by the mighty Eddie Van Halen. His pioneering development in technique and his incredible showmanship inspired so many guitarists, all done with the biggest smile on his face. I like to think he's now rocking the great gig in the sky with his magic. Thanks to unsplash.com for the images.

Packed so full of Christmas songs, it has turned itself into a music quiz too! Challenge family, friends or colleagues to figure out just how many songs I've included! Truellista emerged during the pandemic of 2020 which brought an abrupt halt to 15 years working professionally in music and playing live. I am classically trained. I play several instruments, I write, arrange and enjoy creating music. My musical path changed it's course the day I heard Joe Satriani's Flying In A Blue Dream as an impressionable teenage Truellista. I immediately started saving until I could afford my first axe. I plugged it into my dad's old record player amp and I was away, playing along to whatever vinyl I could get my hands on. Life & work got in the way for too long but I feel like a teenager again having rediscovered the joy of playing for fun during the pandemic. These are the results of my lockdown rockdown!
p.s. In case you're interested, the name Truellista came about when I was researching what a 3-way duel was called (with 3 guitars in mind) and some places said it was a 'truel'. I added the 'ista' and the rest is history...
